iWRITE Summer Camps

CALLING ALL CREATIVE KIDDOS! iWRITE’s Story Writing and Illustration Camps are geared to kids ages 5-12 who love to Write, Draw, and use their imagination!

Campers spend each day learning hands-on writing and illustration techniques from professional authors, illustrators, and educators. Published Author & iWRITE Founder, Melissa Williams Murphy, and Illustrator, Ryan Shaw have been hosting this camp for sixteen years. iWRITE Campers will learn how to:

~Create Fictional Characters and a Dynamic Story Plot

~How to Hook Readers and Develop Problems and Solutions

~Describe the Setting and Use Sensory Words

~Use books and other stories for inspiration

~Edit and Revise

~Draw Characters and Backgrounds

~All Campers will take home a professional, autographed illustration!
