What items are lying around your home to be discovered?
This write-around-the-house activity is perfect for hands-on practice or as a distance learning resource.

- Wanna be fancy, feel like a detective? A magnifying glass would make this a real adventure for your child or student!
Children will take their writing page around the house or room and either find letters or words. If they are finding letters, they will trace a letter when they find it (see page 2 of the worksheet above). If they are finding words, they will write them on their page (see page 1 of the worksheet above).
Want to go a bit further? Document your journey as a detective in your journal by writing or drawing using the prompts below.
