We want to help you prevent summer learning loss!
This summer, we’re excited to provide weekly activities for children to keep their minds active and imaginations engaged. Research shows that children can lose up to 20% of their reading skills over the summer months. This decline is often caused by a disruption in routine and limited access to stimulating, educational experiences.
To help combat this, our weekly activities are designed to be both fun and enriching. They give kids something to look forward to while reinforcing the skills they’ve worked hard to build during the school year. From story-driven challenges to hands-on creative projects, we’re making it easy for families to keep learning alive without it feeling like homework.

Summer Reading Challenge
Encourage your child to read this summer by using our iWRITE Summer Reading Log! Kids can read on their own or enjoy story time with you; either way, reading earns rewards. Parents can set fun prizes at home, like a trip to for ice cream, or Houston-area families can stop by the iWRITE office to pick up a free book as a prize. It’s a fun, flexible way to keep kids motivated and engaged all summer long!
