The iWRITE Literacy Organization is providing exciting summer camps in both Houston and Galveston. These fun camps will introduce professional concepts that will enhance students’ writing skills and give them a chance to become a published author! Check out our 2017 Summer Camps down below.

 


2017 iWRITE SUMMER CAMPS


 

Creative Writing Day Camp with “i” The Guy – Spring Branch 
iWRITE Literacy Organization founder and children’s author, Melissa Williams, will be holding a 1 day Creative Writing and Illustration Camp at the HEB Community Room on the Katy Freeway.  Our campers will receive creative writing instruction combined with exciting character development exercises and even an illustration lesson from, illustrator, Ryan Shaw. All campers will have a chance to enter their story for publication in the I Write Short Stories by Kids for Kids writing contest presented by iWRITE! To register, please click here.

iWRITE Literacy Organization founder and children’s author, Melissa Williams, will be holding a 4 day Creative Writing and Illustration Camp at Epiphany Lutheran Church. Each day our campers will receive creative writing instruction combined with exciting character development exercises and even an illustration lesson from, illustrator, Ryan Shaw. Historical Fiction Writing Camp – The Bryan Museum
iWRITE is partnering with the Byran Museum to host History Camp at The Bryan Museum: Writing Your Way to High Adventure! This 5 day camp will give students the opportunity to experience hands on inspiration from the Wild West and Texas History. Each day our campers will receive creative writing instruction from iWRITE founder and children’s author, Melissa Williams, combined with exciting activities from the museum’s history experts used to create their own fictional short stories! Campers will even a chance to enter their story for publication in our I Write Short Stories by Kids for the Kids Writing Contest. To register, please click the links below.
